Aqueous Hobby Color

Water-soluble acrylic resin paint that can be diluted with water. The amount of organic solvents used is less than that of solvent-based acrylic resin paints, and milder solvents are used. Therefore, the paint has a mild odor and is easy to handle.

After drying, the paint becomes water-resistant. Before drying, it can be diluted with water and tools can be washed. After drying, please use Mr. Tool Cleaner Kai to clean.

The luster and smoothness of the coating film are excellent.
Mr. Clear Color GX

The high-end clear color series uses highly refined technology to create ultra-fine, premium special pigments, instead of using dye-based clear paints, which are prone to fading and can cause discoloration. This series provides vibrant colors while minimizing fading caused by light exposure.

These clear colors can also be mixed with the regular clear color series of Mr. Color paints.
Mr. Color GX

Mr. Color GX is an enhanced series of paints that improves upon the quality of the standard Mr. Color line, with several upgraded features. These paints are known for their vivid colors, high opacity, and smooth, durable finish. The improved formula allows for these characteristics without the use of strong solvents, making them easier and safer to use.

Mr. Color GX can be mixed with regular Mr. Color paints and can be thinned and cleaned using the usual Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Rapid Thinner, or Mr. Leveling Thinner. This compatibility ensures that users can integrate Mr. Color GX into their existing painting processes without any additional adjustments, providing a seamless transition while benefiting from its enhanced performance.
Mr. Color C

Mr. Color has a wide variety of colors and can be used for painting many types of models, including character models, scale models (tanks, airplanes, and ships), and more.

A wide range of pigments and metallic particles can be used, and many of them produce better colors than water-based paints (especially metallic and blue paints). (Especially metallic and blue paints).

Solvent-based paints dry quickly.

The paint film after drying is hard, and a beautiful glossy surface can be obtained.

The resin used has a thick, fleshy feel and forms an optimum coating film.

When painting with Mr. Color, it is necessary to dilute the paint with Mr. Color Thinning Liquid as needed.

Compared to water-based paints, the viscosity of Mr. Color is higher. When painting with a brush, add Mr. Color Thinning Liquid if the paint is difficult to apply. (Approximate ratio: Paint: Thinning liquid = 1:maximum 1)

Also, mix a few drops of Mr. Retarder Mild to reduce drying speed and brush stippling.

When airbrushing, dilute the paint according to the viscosity of the paint in the ratio of 1:2 maximum. When airbrushing, apply only a light coat of paint on the entire surface, and apply thin layers of paint in two or three coats

For glossy Mr. Color, the gloss level can be adjusted using C30 Flat Base. For a semi-gloss finish, mix 5-10% of the paint with Flat Base.

For a semi-glossy finish, mix 5-10% of the paint with a flat base, and 10-20% with a flat base for a matte finish. By adjusting the ratio of the flat base, various gloss levels can be achieved.
Mr. Color Super Metallic

The Mr. Super Metallic 2 Series features high-quality, fine metal particles that deliver an exceptional metallic appearance. This new series has upgraded the materials from the previous Super Metallic line, enhancing the metallic effect to an even more beautiful level.

The base materials are the same as those used in Mr. Color, so for thinning and cleaning, you should use Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Rapid Thinner, or Mr. Leveling Thinner. When airbrushing, dilute the paint with a ratio of 1 part paint to 0 or 1–2 parts thinner. Depending on the color, the formulation varies, so more fluid metallic colors can be used directly.

Since the fine metal particles tend to settle quickly, it’s important to stir the paint occasionally during airbrushing to ensure an even finish.
